We have been running with three aerogardens in our warehouse for four weeks now and we thought that it would be worth showing some pictures of the plants at this stage. Neither the tomatoes nor the chili peppers have started started bearing fruit as yet but as you can see the salad greens have been intensively used by around four people for the last week as sandwich filler. If we hadn’t touched the salad leaves they would be at least double the size.

The tomato plants - as you can clearly see - need the spacer pods between the three plants. The plants are remarkably robust for such a young age and we intend to plant them out once the weather is a little hotter on a regular basis.

We are hoping that the salad greens will provide us with a fairly continuous source for sandwiches - as they currently are.

The chili peppers have all grown at a fast rate. You can see in this photo the effect of natural light on the plants. The window is on the left hand side of the photo and it is clear that these plants are larger than the ones on the left. Again there are no signs of peppers as yet.
