Delivery Information

Christmas Delivery

If you are purchasing any items from this website after or on the 19th of December we cannot guarantee delivery before Christmas. If you would like to purchase something from us on a n upgraded delivery service (next working day) then please call us on 0845 500 1215. All orders placed between the 19th and 21st of December will still be despatched but delivery will not be guaranteed before Christmas. If you are ordering an Aerogarden unit and not some of the accessories then we will still be able to deliver to you before Christmas if you place your order before 2pm on the 21st of December.

Next Working Day Courier

All orders to the value of £46.00 or over are despatched by DHL on a next working day service and your parcel will need to be signed for. We will endeavour to dispatch orders on the same day if placed before 2pm. We advise to place your order over the phone if you do need it dispatched the same day. Please note that the service is not guaranteed next working day – there may very occasionally be unforeseen delays to the delivery.

Deliveries to a home address can take place anytime between 8am – 8pm (and can particularly run later than 5pm during the Christmas run-up period). Deliveries to a work address are made during 9am – 5pm. If you wish to instruct the delivery driver to leave a parcel with a neighbour or in a certain area please leave a signed and dated note on your door instructing them to do so. DHL will make 3 delivery attempts on three consecutive week days to a home address and 1 delivery attempt only to a work address. Please ensure you are able to receive the parcel on one of these attempts or the parcel will be returned to us and there will be a redelivery charge of £7.99 before we can send your order out to you again.

Delivery charges apply for mainland UK only – please contact us before ordering if you wish to have the item delivered to an offshore isle, Northern Ireland, or a highland area, as there may be additional charges.

Royal Mail

All orders of £14.99 and under incur a £2.99 postage and packaging charge for First Class delivery by Royal Mail. For any purchase of £14.99 to £45.99 a £3.99 P&P charge is made for First Class delivery by Royal Mail. Most orders will be too large to fit through a normal letterbox and so will need to be received in person or subsequently collected from the local Post Office. Please ensure you do this within the stated time on the card left for you by the postman, or there will be a redelivery charge equivalent to the original delivery charge if your order is not collected, and returned to us by Royal Mail.

International Orders

We can deliver to countries within Europe only, but do not deliver to countries outside of the EU.

International orders can not be made through the website - please email us before ordering with details of the products that you would like to order and your delivery address and contact telephone number, and we will send you a Pay Pal invoice for payment.

All orders of £12.99 and under to Europe incur a £4.99 postage and packaging charge for delivery by Airmail. For any purchase of £14.99 to £45.99 a £9.99 delivery charge applies for delivery by Airmail.

For larger orders of Aerogarden units or goods over the value of £45.99 we dispatch by DHL international delivery. Please see the below table for delivery costs and times for larger orders to Europe.

Estimated delivery times are not exact – items may very occasionally be delayed by one or two days due to unforeseen circumstances.

Product Guarantee and Returns

We always stand by the quality and safety of the products we supply and the service we offer. If you’re not completely satisfied, please tell us about it so that we can put the situation right and do better next time! You can return an unused product to us within 28 days for a full refund provided it is packaged in a resalable condition. We will endeavour to replace or exchange any items that have become defective within the first year (with the exception of grow bulbs which have a six month life cycle). When returning a product, please contact us to confirm exact details by emailing contact@aerogarden.org.uk. Please tell us the reason you are returning the product, as this really helps us to improve our service to you. We recommend you obtain a Certificate of Posting from the Post Office when returning items to us, to insure you against lost post.

If you are returning an item please call our order line to discuss the ways in which you can return the order. For customers within the UK, if the fault is proved to be with the product, we’ll refund the full cost of returning the product to us. For customers outside of the UK, we will contribute £7.99 towards return postage of faulty aerogarden units under warranty and up to £3.99 towards other faulty items returned by post under warranty, but the customer will be liable to pay the rest of the cost of return postage, as well as the additional cost of shipping any replacement items back to the customer in Europe.
